I thought you said that your animes are free, how come I have to pay for it? A: Yes, we said it was free...but we are not rich people (see who we really are in About Us section). Our mission is to deliver as much anime to as many people as possible, especially the anime that are still fresh out of Japan. But to do so we have to cover the cost of blank CD media, the electricity, the CD-R maintenance, the shipping box, and the shipping cost . Each high quality CD cost us about 90 cents, but sadly, our HP CD-R is very old and hard to work with...and it buffers every 2 out of 3 CDs, so we are force to charge $1.50 per CD. When our crappy PC misread the infos and misburned a CD the whole CD becomes useless (but rest assure that all the discs we mail out to you will work 100% because we test each one before we mail it out, and if you find a defect we will replace it for free, but you have to tell us right away so we can take care of you. But you do have to mail the defective cd back to us so we know you are not lying.) ...we have hundreds of these un-usable CDs every week! And the shipping cost is something that the USPS takes away, and we can't do anything about their rate, plus the money I spend to get good shipping materials and boxes. Go to the shipping section to see the chart... Q :Are all of your anime subtitled in English and in original Japanese language? A: Almost all of them are English subtitled, but there might be exceptions. So read the description of each anime carefully, it should say very clearly. If you are still puzzle, email me. Q:What types of payment do you accept? A:We accept Money Order (preferred Postal Money Order), so we can ship and cash it in the same time, we also accept Check but that will take around 2 weeks to clear (we hate checks, takes way too long and we have to follow up on it constantly to make sure it doesn't bounce), we also accept Cash (we don't recommend it, because we are not responsible for any stolen cash in the mail), and finally we accept your Credit Card thru paypal.com (a online company that transfer funds between banks and credit card, fast and easy way to send instant cash). If you decides to send us payment via paypal.com please add: 2.9% + 30¢ to the final value of the payment. This is what paypal charges us, and we cannot afford to loose any more money, since our budget is calculated to the lowest. This is worth it, because a Money Order will cost you about 80¢ ($0.80) anyway. Q:How fast will I get it after I order? A:we will usually ship within three days after we have received the payment, and USPS first class mail takes about three days to get to where you are sitting. So by the time I receive your payment, it will be about a week until you get your anime, so that's a pretty reasonable time period. And plus I answer your email within 48 hours (usually 24), so we are in touch all the time. Q:Great webpage design, but not even a .com? A:I know what you are thinking, you don't trust a site run by third party host, because you think we are just messing around? Don't worry, we have a great team of Web designer, Japanese associates, and fans. We went with a third party host, because we don't want to charge you, the fan, anymore money than you are paying for the anime. If we get a .com or .net, the price will increase and that's very bad for you fans...but our service is 100% satisfactory guarantee. Q:How do I fix the file with no audio or video? A:Go to http://www.divx.com/ and get the latest Codec. and then your files should play fine. What it does is decompress the video files, it's very useful. we are sure all of our anime has audio and video. Every discs are tested before going out to the mail..After you have downloaded the latest divx codec, all your video should work, but if some avi files still don't have any audio you will have to go to http://www.doom9.org/ . Scroll down to the codec section and download the DivX 3.11 alpha. Divx 5.0.1 is missing some audio codec that was in the earlier version, so now that you have both the audio and video codec everything should work perfectly fine. Q:What is the best player to view .avi files? A:I have made a comparision with the quality of Windows Media Player and with Divx.com's own DivX Player. I would have to say that DivX Player gave me a better picture quality overall, but DivX Player only support .avi and mpeg4 files. But WMP is generally more stable. Q:What are VCD? How can I watch it? A:VCD is short for Video CD, it is the predecesor of DVD. The video is usually in some kind of compress mpeg format. If you put it in your CD rom you will see that the movie files are type .dat. DAT files can be watch from your Windows Media Player, so VCD works fine with your computer. But the main reason to get VCD is because you can also watch it on your TV if you have a VCD player or a DVD player. About 20% of the DVD players on the market howerver does NOT support VCD, while a majority of them do. If for some reason you are unable to make VCD work on your WMP, you may try this program call WinDVD , this program has a 45 days trial on it, but it works with VCD very nicely, so you can maybe download it first and find "something" to get rid of the trial....you know what i mean. Q:Can I combine shipping cost? A:Yes, eventhough each anime title has a shipping cost of its own on their respected page those cost don't actually apply if you are buying more than one title from us. This is how shipping is calculated, the first disc has an initial cost of $3.10, and every additional disc cost $0.50 more. Q:What are DIVX and AVI format?? A:Divx is an advance movie format that highly compress the video and audio file, these files are often in file foramt AVI or MPEG4. These are usually VERY high quality video files when compare to RM, MPEG, VCD, and such... These files can be played on your Windows Media Player and DIVX Player, but it requires some codec to decode the video, and they are available for free at: http://www.divx.com/ and http://www.doom9.org/ .
